About Buda Texas

Just a hop, skip and a jump south of Austin, Buda is a great place to call home. But let's start with the name...BUDA. You can tell the 'newbies' to Buda by how they pronounce the name. Coming from the Midwest I made the common mistake of pronouncing it B-OO-DA. I was quickly corrected. The name is pronounced B-YOU-Da. And just like its name Buda is a bit different than you might expect. So come on and let's check it out.
