HOW DO I READ AND/OR PRINT THE PLAT MAPS?
1) If you are trying to open the .pdf file map, it may not be available at this time. Therefore, you will need
to open the .tiff file map. Although we are in the process of converting the updated maps to .pdf, it willtake several months before this project is complete.2) If you are unable to open the .tiff image or if you can not read the image, you should verify that you are
using one of the recommended programs on your operating system. If you are using Windows XP, you
can use the “Windows Picture & Fax Viewer” and if you are using a prior operating system, you may use
the “Kodak Imaging” program.
If another program, such as “Quick Time”, has been set as your default, it may not be able to read our
plat maps. However, you can open the plat maps without changing your default settings if you save the
data and then open it with one of the above mentioned programs.
NOTE: When you scroll down to the “Plat Map” button, you should “right click” and “save target as…” to afile on your “Desktop” or in the “My Documents” folder. You should have the ability to open the plat
map with a program from your operating system.
