How cool is it that we have our own area vineyards! Texas wine has come a LONG way in recent years . The Texas Hill country wineries have bloomed from a pioneering few, into an internationally awarded and recognized wine region. The #2 wine destination in the Nation! No need to fly to California to visit the wineries...cause now you're smack dab in the middle of it all! Here are a few area vineyards and festivals you might want to check out.

I don't have a tab for water but as that is a healthy drink and we have a local water supplier I'm putting it here.

Wine Festivals

Texas Hill Country Wine and Food Festival (this is in its 23rd year!)

Each spring (usually in April) we have a local Texas Hill Country Wine and Food Festival. you might want to put in on your calendar and check it out. It's a fun day for all.

Austin Wine Festival (2008 was the second year for this festival held Memorial Day weekend.)

Lavender Festival (June)
