Kissing Tree Active Adult Living Community

Being a baby boomer myself, I cannot be more excited to share a community that I think is an answer to a prayer...a prayer I didn't even know I had until I took my tour.  Kissing Tree is described as an Active Adult Living community and from what I've seen it lives up to the name. Now I know that term can conjure up a whole lot of images, but let me assure you this place is truly special.

Here's how the community describes itself in its literature:

Where the Fun falls from the sky.

Camaraderie and Independence live in perfect Harmony

People Blaze their own trails and make their own rules.

Brand-New dreams are followed in brand-new homes.

This is a place where you write your own story.

Now I can't swear to all of the above but I can say it just might. I know at this stage in my life I like the idea of living someplace where I can write my own story and make some of my own rules. This community is something special. It's so special in fact that I am looking into moving their myself....Who knows we may be neighbors!!!!

I can't begin to describe it in a few words but let me say that Kissing Tree has tons of activities including fitness center, indoor outdoor pool, hiking trails, pickle ball (I've never tried it but plan to), bocce ball etc. Not all are in yet but looks like most will be finished out in 2020. The community is new (only about 300 of 3200 has been built) yet it doesn't feel too 'new' and getting in early is allowing the residents to really get to know each other. I have to say that from what I've seen the builder/developer Brookfield is doing a great job in planning it out. The place is beautifully designed with what my daughter calls a new hipster/cool feeling. The home styles are varied. The prices start in low 300s. The people are fun and friendly.

Call me at 512 787 1744 and let me tell you more about this special place that is located off the corridor of I35 between Austin and San Marcos. Like I said before, I'm a baby boomer myself, (I'm now official with Medicare and the whole bit) and I've been a licensed realtor for over 15 years. Yet I can honestly say this is the first community that I've fallen in love with like this. It's really something special.
